An exceptionally rare Patent Turner dinner service decorated in waterlily pattern with gilt detailing. Each piece is hand-painted with the Patent mark in red. It is truly incredible to find this amount of Turner (an early ironstone company).
It consists of:
2 large soup tureens
2 vegetable low-square tureens
1 sauce tureens
2 sauce tureens (1 in perfect condition, the other with the knob present but detached)
2 vegetable tureen bases
1 square fruit bowl (slight rubbing)
1 large platter (slight wear to centre)
1 medium-sized platter (good condition)
4 smaller platters
16 soup bowls
10 dessert plates (some rubbing to the gilt detailing in the centre) –
